If you’re pregnant it’s never too early to start planning for Postpartum. Here’s ten things you can start doing:

  1. Cooking - if you are nearing the end of your pregnancy - third trimester mamas this is for you. Start preparing meals that you can freeze and save for the early postpartum days. Warming foods like soups and stews are the foundation for recovery. Find out what foods to buy with our shopping list.

  2. Meal train - if you’re not up to cooking meal train is a great option. Have family members add meals or they can buy a grub hub gift cards that you can use on meal train.

  3. Get your partner to give you a massage. You will be feeling achy.

  4. Start reading up on postpartum – many moms miss this step completely.

  5. Postpartum Planning - write out your wishes. Use this plan to get started.

  6. Make some mock-tails and enjoy your quarantine days.

  7. Start planning for virtual support (friends, family, postpartum doula, lactation consultant, pelvic floor therapist).

  8. Check out these postpartum exercises. Consult your health care provider before you get started on an exercise routine.

  9. Do yoga, stretches, Pilates. YouTube has everything.

  10. Listen to podcast.
