Female executives and workers are exhausted, and some are quitting.
What’s happening: according to McKinsey & Company we’re in the midst of a ‘great breakup’. Women leaders are leaving the workplace at the highest rate, demanding more time off, more flexibility and help with childcare options.😫 Some are quitting and others are likely to switch jobs so that they can get their needs met.
Yes, we’re here for this but: women aren’t saying we don’t want to work. We're breaking up with companies because we don’t want 'business as usual'. According to data working women in the US are among the most stressed out globally because we work then come even more home life work.
How to survive daylight savings time
The history: daylight savings time was created for economies – extra time out meant more money spent. 🌟You left your house more when there's more daylight, which means more golfing, gas, gardening etc. Losing an hour sleep is a big deal especially if you have little kids so to combat the effects of DST you need to det yourself up with a good foundation.
What you need to do: you may need help falling asleep early so thing like relaxation pills. Some black out curtains. Also you should shift both your bedtime and your wake-up time earlier by 15-minute increments in the days leading up to DST.
